The 40TPS08 is a high-performance, phase-control Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) housed in a durable TO-247AC package. Rated for a maximum off-state voltage of 800V and an average forward current of 35A, this high-power thyristor is engineered for demanding industrial power conversion and soft-start switching operations. It features excellent surge current capacity up to 500A, making it highly resilient against line transients and high inrush currents.
