HMT Mobile App – Account & Data Deletion Request

If you use the HMT Mobile App and want to delete your account or request deletion of your personal data, you may submit a request at any time.

We take user privacy seriously and follow all Google Play and local data protection requirements.


What Data Will Be Deleted

Once we process your request, we permanently delete the following information:

  • Your account details (name, phone number, email)

  • Order history and purchase records

  • Saved addresses

  • App usage data

  • Device identifiers linked to your account

  • Notification tokens

  • Any data stored on our servers related to your HMT account

Exceptions:
We may retain certain transaction records when required by Nepal law (VAT, invoices, financial compliance).


How to Request Account or Data Deletion

You can delete your account or request data removal using either method below:

Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)

Send an email to:

Subject: HMT Account/Data Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your registered phone number

  • Your HMT account email (if any)

  • Optional: reason for deletion


Method 2: In-App Support

Open the HMT App → Go to ProfileSupport → Request Account Deletion


Processing Time

  • Your deletion request will be processed within 7 business days.

  • You will receive confirmation once your data has been deleted.


Important Notes

  • After deletion, your account cannot be restored.

  • All app data linked to your account will be removed.

  • Some financial records (e.g., completed invoices) may be retained as required by law.
