Description

The L9110S DC Motor Driver Module is a compact and easy-to-use dual-channel motor driver designed to control two DC motors independently or one bipolar stepper motor. With an operating voltage range of 2.5V to 12V and a continuous output capability of up to 0.8A per channel, it is an excellent choice for small robotics, automation projects, Arduino-based applications, and DIY motor-control systems.

The module uses the L9110S H-bridge motor driver IC, allowing you to control motor direction and speed using simple digital or PWM signals from a microcontroller.

Key Features

  • Dual-channel motor driver – Control two DC motors independently.
  • Wide operating voltage: 2.5V–12V DC.
  • Output current: Up to 0.8A per channel.
  • H-bridge design for forward and reverse motor control.
  • PWM speed control supported.
  • Can drive one bipolar stepper motor.
  • Compact and lightweight module.
  • Simple interface suitable for Arduino and other microcontrollers.
  • Suitable for low-voltage DC motors and small robotic applications.

Pin Configuration

The module typically provides separate input and output connections for the two motor channels:

Motor A

  • A-IA – Input control for Motor A
  • A-IB – Input control for Motor A
  • A-OA – Motor A output
  • A-OB – Motor A output

Motor B

  • B-IA – Input control for Motor B
  • B-IB – Input control for Motor B
  • B-OA – Motor B output
  • B-OB – Motor B output

Power

  • VCC – Motor supply voltage
  • GND – Ground

Control Logic

The direction of each motor can be controlled by changing the two input signals.

Input 1 Input 2 Motor Action
LOW LOW Stop
HIGH LOW Forward
LOW HIGH Reverse
HIGH HIGH Stop / Brake

For speed control, apply a PWM signal to one of the control inputs.
